GINO CAVALLO

Gino is a native of Sault Ste. Marie. He studied Communications at the University of Windsor and Broadcast Journalism at Fanshawe College before beginning his career in broadcasting. He is currently employed at Sault College as a professor in the Public Relations and Event Management Program. Gino works as a free-lance reporter and hockey play by play broadcaster for Soo Greyhound games at Shaw TV. Gino has also worked as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Soo Greyhounds and in sales & marketing with Cliffe Printing. He is currently a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Hockey Hall of Fame committee and has served as vice-chairman of the SSM Parks & Recreation Advisory committee, chairperson of the SSM Sports Hall of Fame committee, and vice-president of the G. Marconi Society. Over the years, Gino has been a Master of Ceremonies for numerous public and private events and has also volunteered for several fundraising events in the  fields of sports, recreation and culture.

NATASHA DEACTIS

Natasha holds a Master of Communication Degree specializing in Public Relations and Organizational Communication from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She is also a graduate of the University of Windsor where she obtained a Degree in Communications. Natasha has been employed with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario as a Public Relations Specialist on The Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway Project, one of the largest infrastructure projects in North America. In 2014 while working for MTO, Natasha was awarded the Virtuoso Award for Community Relations. Previously Natasha worked for the Ford Motor Company, Detroit Tigers and Girl Scouts of America. Natasha was an avid volunteer with the Developmental Youth Program in Windsor, Ontario. Natasha is a professor at Sault College in the Public Relations and Event Management post-graduate program and a professor at Lake Superior State University in the Communication Department.
